NOIDA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (Jewar Airport)

UP govt has given to the name, design and logo of the much-awaited international airport at Noida’s Jewar. The Name will be Noida International Greenfield Airport will become a universal Brand and the pride of India. KEY FEATURES which Makes Jewar Airport and So Special are as follows:

• Passenger capacity: The NOIDA International Greenfield Airport, Jewar will be developed in four phases. Its preliminary ability will be 12 million passengers yearly, which is expected to increase to 70 million passengers every year by 2050.
• Runways: The airport will start with two runways and can have upto five runways in subsequent years.
• Cost: The outlay for the Jewar Airport is expected to be around Rs 29,560 crore.

• Area: While the airport is projected to come up on about 5200 hectares of land, so far the government has acquired 1,334 hectares of land for in which two runways will be built in the primary phase, and further 50 hectares of land for the rehabilitation of those displaced due to the project. It is the well connected with cities Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Agra Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura Vrindavan , Palwal, Faridabad.
• The logo: The airport has the state bird ‘Saras’ (crane) as its logo. They said the bird is in a flying posture so as to indicate connectivity with the rest of the world

Over the past three years, various clearances, including security, environment, bidder, etc followed. It is Zurich Airport International AG that won the bid for developing the airport in December last year. Two Runway will be Operational in Sep – Oct 2023

• July 6, 2017: Site clearance by Union Ministry of Civil Aviation.
• October 5, 2017: NOC from Ministry of Home Affairs.
• July 11, 2018: NOC from Ministry of Defense.
• November 29, 2019: Financial bids opened. Zurich Airport International AG bids a premium bid of? 400.97 per passenger.
• December 16, 2019: UP government selects Zurich Airport International AG as the developer.
• March 9, 2020: Project gets environmental clearance.
• May 2020: Project granted security clearance by Ministry of Civil Aviation Government.
• October 07, 2020: Zurich International Airport AG’s Special purpose vehicle for the project i.e. Yamuna International Airport Pvt. Ltd and UP government sign a Concession Agreement.
• December 17, 2020: Project is named “NOIDA International Greenfield Airport, Jewar”; its logo of a flying saras as well its design cleared by the government.
• February 07 2021: Construction will be start from 07 Feb 2021

About Film City

The another dream project of UP govt, Which is the FILM CITY. It is located in Sec 21 Yamuna Expressway.

The Film City will be situated on a 1,000-acre area in Sector 21. The Gautam Budh Nagar Film City is likely to see its first film shooting by early 2021. It will be spread over 780 acres while 220 acres will be used for commercial purposes.

The Gautam Budh Nagar Film City is expected to see its first film shooting by 2021. The state government announced that the “biggest” film city will come up in the district. Thousand acres of land at Sector 21 at the Yamuna Expressway has been identified for the purpose. The There is a lot of excitement with regard to the Film City and it is another biggest USP Of our Jewar Aawas Yojna.

On !4th Of December 2020 Financial Bid was Open at 4pm. In which CBRE South Asia Pvt. Ltd. was one who won the Bid. Yamuna Expressway Authority area sector 21 tender was given to CBRE South Asia pvt ltd which is come on 128th Position out of 500 Fortune Companies and now they have to submit the blueprint within 60 days.
